Kinetrol is a company that specializes in motion control and actuation equipment for industrial processes. Founded in 1958 by a group of control engineers, the company initially focused on damping expertise, which led to the development of Kinetrol’s rotary viscous dashpots. Later, Kinetrol invented and patented its vane-type rotary pneumatic actuator to meet the emerging need for quarter-turn valve and mechanism actuation. Since then, Kinetrol has continuously developed and extended its actuator and control equipment range to meet the ever-changing market demand for increasingly sophisticated and accurate process control and monitoring equipment.

The company operates from three sites in Farnham, England, and exports at least 70% of its products worldwide through its own subsidiaries and a network of independent distributors. Kinetrol has a rigorous quality control program, including 100% functional testing of products and full serial number traceability, and its quality system is approved to ISO 9001 (2015).
